Sumitomo Electric Industries, Ltd. has established a sales company, SEI Australia Pty Ltd, with the aim of penetrating the Australian information and communication market, which will commence operations on October 15, 2025.

In Australia, the development of digital infrastructure is accelerating, and the demand for information and communication-related products is rapidly expanding, particularly in the data center and telecommunications market. In response to this market environment, we have established a local base to provide faster and more flexible services, aiming to enhance customer satisfaction and create new business opportunities.

The new company will provide products and services for data centers and telecommunications operators, including ultra high fiber count cables, high-performance connectors, panels for connecting optical fibers, and wiring racks.
