Welcoming Ceremony
On April 1st, a ceremony was held to welcome 411 new employees to the company. We are very pleased to welcome so many people into the Sumitomo Electric Group this year.
With their future activity and growth in mind, I made three requests at the ceremony to all of our new employees:
1. Thoroughly ensure safety and compliance.
2. Propose new initiatives and take on bold challenges.
3. Value communication and good health.
The Sumitomo Electric Group places great importance on the public interest. We have a policy of contributing to the betterment of society through the practice of 鈥淕oho-Yoshi鈥 ("Five-Way Win" or multistakeholder capitalism). Although the new employees are beginning their careers at different locations, all are expected to use this policy as their foundation as we work together to build our collective future.
It is my sincere hope for all new employees to work actively, earn people鈥檚 trust, and have a wonderful work life in our company.
